The Dynamic Therapist

An open invitation

Come to church
with me.

I go to Hope Baptist Church in Rossington, Doncaster. If you've been thinking about church, coming back after a long time away, or just want to see what it's like, you'd be very welcome to join me on a Sunday.
Nobody likes walking in on their own, so let me know you're coming and I'll look out for you and introduce you to a few people.

The essentials

Hope Baptist Church

A Baptist church in Rossington, planted in 2003 by Pastor Eric Simpson and his wife Lisa. In its own words, the church exists "to honour Christ, grow believers and give hope to those exploring Christianity." It's in fellowship with the FIEC (Fellowship of Independent Evangelical Churches).

When
Sundays, 10:30am to around 12 noon
Pastor
Pastor Eric Simpson

What a Sunday is like

Relaxed, friendly
and about 90 minutes.

  1. Worship

Singing that blends modern worship songs with older hymns.

  2. Bible teaching

Preaching that applies God's Word to everyday life.

  3. Children

Younger children can go to the children's ministry during the preaching if they'd like to. The team are DBS-checked.

  4. Afterwards

Light refreshments and a chance to chat. Dress is up to you, and it's normally quite casual.

During the week

More than Sunday.

The church also runs groups through the week. Have a look on their website for the latest details.

For Christian men

Built to Stand.

Separately from the church, I'm starting Built to Stand, a 12-week course for Christian men who want to talk honestly about what they're carrying and build on a foundation that holds.

Hope Baptist Church is an independent church and isn't part of The Dynamic Therapist. Service times and details come from the church's website, so it's worth a quick check there before you go.
